Helio P95: Midrange smartphones have been implementing the 64MP sensors more and more and Mediatek today delivered a newer chipset with support for it. The Helio P95 SoC was introduced by the Taiwanese manufacturer – it has improved AI over the Helio P90 while keeping the same CPU, GPU and other general specs.

According to Mediatek, the ETHZ benchmark scores for AI in smartphones should be 10% higher than the result of the Helio P90.
In addition to supporting 64MP shooters, the new chipset brings more AI tweaks including 5-person human pose tracking, full-body avatar AR, 3D pose tracking and multiple objects and scene optimization and recognition, provided the smartphone companies want to implement these features in their devices.
MediaTek doesn’t say how much time it will take for companies to launch a phone with the Helio P95, but seeing how it’s almost identical to the P90 it probably won’t be long now.
