Thanks to its distinctive retractable telephoto/portrait lens, the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro is one of the more remarkable smartphones in recent memory. We’ve been curious about the phone’s interior, but thankfully PBKreviews has us covered with his most recent teardown video.

After removing the SIM tray and heating up the rear, the plastic back cover is lifted off. The cameras are unlocked by removing a total of 17 screws, allowing us to obtain a close-up of the telephoto module (1:15 mark in the video).
We can see the three rear cameras, proximity sensor, and LED flash up close by releasing a few more connections from the mainboard. The storage, RAM, and chipset are located on the backside.
The host must put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol around the cell to dissolve the adhesive since the battery does not come with pull tabs. The bottom speaker assembly is then seen in the video. A cumulative 4.5/10 out of 10 is the Phantom X2 Pro’s reparability rating.
