OnePlus just unveiled its latest Nord phone, the Nord CE, which is a reimagined version of the original Nord, earlier today. However, the business is also developing a direct successor to the first Nord, dubbed Nord2. The complete specifications for this phone have already been revealed.
OnePlus Nord 2 Specs
The Nord 2 is expected to have a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED touchscreen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 CPU, and a 4,500mAh battery. This will feature a minimum of 30W fast charging and a maximum of 65W.

The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset will be at the heart of the OnePlus Nord 2 specifications, as we’ve heard in the rumors mill. The smartphone will be available in two configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. In addition, the phone will include a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 90Hz refresh rate, as expected. It’s unclear whether a 6GB basic edition would be available for the Indian market at launch, as there was for the original Nord.
The OnePlus Nord 2 will include a 50MP sensor on the rear, flanked by 8MP and 2MP cameras; if you’re keeping track, that’s one less sensor on the rear than last year’s Nord. A 32MP selfie camera will be on the front, which is the same resolution as last year’s model. The OnePlus Nord 2’s battery capacity, on the other hand, has been increased from 4,115mAh in the first-generation model to 4,500mAh in this phone.
According to previously leaked information, the phone will have an appealing design, a higher screen-to-body ratio, and a corner punch-hole for the selfie sensor. The Sony IMX766, which is also used in the OnePlus 9 Pro’s ultra-wide sensor, is reported to be the primary 50MP camera. According to a previous source, the OnePlus Nord 2 camera module will be similar to the OnePlus 9 Pro’s, but with an LED in place of the lower-right lens. The future phone will also enable 5G, as expected.
OnePlus Nord 2 price in India
The OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to cost around RMB 2,000 (approximately Rs 22,300) in India, which would be a good deal if the 8GB edition costs that much. However, we may have to wait a little longer to see if that is the case or if a market-specific model of the phone is also in the works.
